The junior class at Muncie Central is selling trash bags as a fundraiser for Prom.  If you would like to purchase these trash bags contact the main office at 747-5260.

8th Grade Parent Night

Muncie Central High School will host 8th Grade Parent Night on Thursday, Feb. 5th.  It will be held in the Auditorium from 6:30-7:30 PM.  This is an opportunity for parents and students from Northside, Southside and any other school who will be attending Muncie Central to get acquainted with the high school.  There will be information about the school, diplomas and programs.  From 6:00-6:30 there will be a Course Fair with information available from various departments about the classes they offer.  There will also be school tours starting after the program, at 7:30.  Please join us!

School Closings and Delays

Muncie Community Schools makes every effort to notify school families in the event of school closings or a two-hour delay to the start of the school day. If school is canceled or delayed, we will utilize Honeywell Instant Alert, our phone and email notification system, and our school website, www.muncie.k12.in.us, and our Facebook to notify families.  In addition, information will be sent to our local radio stations and the Star Press.  The Indianapolis television stations also will be notified.

Food Drive Collection Site
October 27th - November 21st

19th Annual Feed My Sheep Muncie

Come join us for a free hot & delicious meal, a bag of groceries, games, entertainment and fellowship!

Who: All are welcome!
When: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday Nov. 27th 2014 1-3pm
Where: Muncie Central High School, 801 N. Walnut St. Muncie, IN 47305.

Homebound individuals and families can call 765-357-4337 for free delivery of meals and a bag of groceries.

Food Drive Collection Sites: Feed My Sheep will have a number of collection sites throughout the Muncie Community. Muncie Community Schools, Wes-Del Elementary School, Muncie Area Career Center, Cornerstone Center for the Arts, Boys and Girls Club, Parlour Salon, Indiana Public Radio and more!  

Satellite Locations:  If you cannot make it to the free meal, stop by one of our satellite locations to pick up a bag of free groceries.  Locations can be found on our website.

The Muncie Central Junior class is looking for donations from the community to make the 2015 Muncie Central Prom the best ever for our Juniors and Seniors.  If you are a community member wishing to donate goods/services for the Prom, please contact Janna Ferguson (jferguson@muncie.k12.in.us) if you would like to donate.
