  • renewal of teacher's license - The Office of Educator Licensing and Development has launched its new online Licensing Verification and Information System (LVIS) .  Their training partner has produced short training webinars for anyone who will be using LVIS to easily and simply "walk through" the basics of entering the LVIS portal and managing your licenses.

Important Change Effective July 1, 2012

Effective July 1, 2012, applicants for initial licensure of any type and applicants for all renewals must show proof of valid CPR/AED/Heimlich certification. For applications submitted and paid in LVIS on or before June 30, 2012, the old requirement will be honored even though the licenses may not be processed by licensing advisors or OELD staff until July 1, 2012, or after.
