Northside Families:
A few reminders as we approach the end of the school year:
• The Scholastic Book Fair will be held the week of May 14 - 18 in the Northside Library from 7:45 - 3:30. Students will be able to preview and purchase new books from the Book Fair during their English/Reading classes. Parents can volunteer for the Book Fair by calling Mrs. Ledbetter in the PVO office. You can visit the Northside Book Fair Homepage at http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/nmstitans . New this year is online ordering available from May 1 - May 18. Mrs. Pendel would like to thank everyone for their support of the Book Fair.
• Northside Family Fun Night will be May 17th. Please join us from 5:30-7:30 for a ton of fun! All Northside families are invited for a family night of fun and food. Crabtree Photography will be here for family pictures. The Book Fair will be open during Family Night too.
• Sixteen Northside students participated Saturday in the Indiana Council of Teachers of Mathematics State Math Contest at Ball State University.Awards were given to the top three scores in each level of pre-algebra and algebra. A huge congratulations to all of these outstanding math students!
• We welcome all 5th graders to our building on May 15th and May 16th for tours and lunch. We can’t wait to meet the future Titans!
• Celebrate Excellence will be May 15th at the Minnetrista Cultural Center from 5:30 to 8:30.
• Please join us on May 18th for our choir concert. STOP Bullying is the theme of the show. Stop bullying t-shirts are on sale now for all students for $7.
• Band-o-Rama is May 24th at Muncie Central. There will be a fundraising dinner catered by Fazoli’s that night too. Join us.
• Our 8th grade Honor program will be June 5th at 1:30 in our gym. We look forward to honoring our 8th grade Titans and sending them on their way to high school.
