Welcome Mrs. Kelli Turner, Principal
My name is Kelli Turner and I am elated to introduce myself as the new principal of North View Elementary! I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Middle School Math Endorsement from Ball State University.
Before coming to North View, I completed one year as the assistant principal at Wilson Middle School and two and half years as the assistant principal at Northside Middle School. I completed five and a half years of teaching middle school math at Northside. I was selected as the teacher of the year at Northside Middle School in 2007. I have coached track at the middle school level and basketball at the middle and high school levels.
I believe that all students can learn and achieve at high levels. The 8-Step Process will provide students the opportunity to reach their potential and prepare them for the future. I am looking forward to working collaboratively with the teachers, students, parents, and community members to facilitate a positive school culture and climate. I have high academic expectations for students at North View Elementary.
I am married to an educator and have two young daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and watching football. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help your child have a successful year at North View Elementary. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
