Placing Learners First

Muncie Community Schools (MCS) has delivered education and shaped the Muncie community since 1855.  Currently, with 350 teachers and 5,000 students at nine schools, the Muncie Area Career Center and other facilities, MCS is transforming public education through a one-of-a-kind partnership with Ball State University. Its innovative cradle-to-career approach prepares all learners to succeed on a path of their choosing. Additionally, MCS employs culturally responsive practices that respect all students and families, empowering them to build on their strengths and improve on their weaknesses.
