Student Immunizations

OPEN DOOR SHOTS FOR TOTS

WHO: Shots For Tots is available for children pre-school through high school.

WHERE: Open Door Health Services located at 333 S. Madison in Muncie, Indiana. The contact number for Open Door is 765-286-7000.

WHEN: Immunizations are available on Thursdays only.

Immunization shots are given between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays. No appointment is needed.

IMPORTANT: Bring shot records and any insurance information you have. You do not have to have any insurance to receive shots.

Renaissance Home Connect

North View is happy to begin using Renaissance Home Connect. This program improves the school-to-home connection by allowing parents and students to log in to our web site and view reading practice scores and work towards specific goals for themselves. We expect that as parents log in to their student’s account, they will work together to improve reading scores, improve comprehension and develop a love of reading.

Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (AR) is the a reading management program, used
in thousands of schools. Students read books then take a computerized quiz that measures their comprehension on that particular book.
Star Reading is a tool we use to place students in their optimal reading range.
Renaissance Place provides educators timely, accurate information on student academic performance.
You can use this information to quickly adjust instruction to help all of your students reach their greatest potential. Accelerated Reader helps
teachers reach all types of readers with Reading Practice, Vocabulary Practice,
Literacy Skills, and Other Reading Quizzes.
