Annual Living Museum of Black History

Our students presented the lives of various people who have made significant contributions. 

These photos show students portraying individuals from the past or the present in this year's living history museum held on February 28, 2008.

The Supremes

 

Washington-Carver has celebrated Black History via the Living Museum for over twenty years.  Students research their character, prepare a speech, and share the important contributions their person made to society.  Students dress in costumes using prompts to enhance their performances.  Students and parents look forward to this annual evening.
