End-of-year message from Jim Williams
To the MCS Community:
As we come to the conclusion of the 2021-2022 school year, the Board wishes to say thank you to each of you.
To our MCS students, thank you for putting in the hard work and effort to successfully pass through another challenging year. Your continuing efforts in the face of these unique challenges have been truly admirable. We love you and admire you. To our graduating seniors and adult graduates, a special congratulations on a job well done. To those students we are excited to welcome back next year, take advantage of the summer to read widely and be engaged in MCS summer programs. And please take advantage of quality time with loved ones and close friends.
To our MCS parents and families, thank you for your love, care, and support of your children during these uncertain times. You are the most important people in their lives and they thrive on your good example. To those of you who have younger children, please take the time to read with them at least 30 minutes a day. This will be so valuable to them as they enter their next school year. To all of our families, take advantage of the many summer programs being offered for enrichment. Finally, in these troubled times, take time each day just listening to, and talking with, your precious children.
To our MCS faculty, staff, and administration, thank you so very much for your dedication, your professionalism, and your unwavering commitment to our MCS students and their families. These past years your grace has been a shining example to the MCS family and to the entire community. On behalf of the Board, we stand in awe of the work you have done under such trying circumstances.
Please know that we deeply appreciate all of you. Finally, stay safe and have a wonderful summer.
James R. Williams
