Transportation
Transportation for MCS students is provided by Auxilio Services and Muncie Indiana Transit Services (MITS), the city bus system. Should your child need transportation, please fill out the student transportation form. Once submitted, someone from the transportation office will contact you through the phone number and email address you listed on the form. The entire process may take up to four days to process and complete. Safety reasons prohibit us from allowing a child to ride until his/her name appears on the bus roster.
Routes are developed based upon the most current information available. Please note that within selected areas of a non-transportation zone area, pickup/drop-off spots may be provided. Generally, these will be in areas where students would have to cross heavily traveled streets and/or railroad crossings.

For students requiring transportation services who do not live along an established MCS bus route, MITS may be the best solution. Using the MITS system often requires a change of buses at the MITS Station downtown, but the process is pretty simple and efficient. For a short tutorial on how to plan and carry out a trip using MITS, please watch one of the videos below (an English version and a Pashto version for Afghan families).
