Thank you for choosing Muncie Community Schools. MCS provides meaningful educational opportunities that support student success from preschool through graduation. 

Pre-Registration

Families may complete pre-registration online at any time. In-person assistance is available at each school during the school year and on select summer dates listed on the district calendar.

Contact your child's school  or visit the  enrollment support page for help with forms, required documents, Parent Portal access, and enrollment questions.

Enrollment Options

All enrollment options require a Parent Portal account. Select the option that best describes your student:

• Current Students – Currently enrolled and attending MCS, including preschool students
• New Students – Have never attended MCS
• Former Students – Previously attended MCS and are returning to the district

The MCS preschool program has limited space due to high demand. Priority is given to 4-year-old students. Enrollment for 3-year-old students is available if space permits. Learn more about Preschool enrollment here.

It’s important for children to feel safe, welcomed and cared for while at school, especially during their first experiences as a student. At Muncie Community Schools, we have six wonderful elementary school options, each with its own unique feel and features.
